Rock Lake Christian Campground

A Ministry of First Baptist Church in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada

Located on beautiful Rock Lake, just 45 minutes from Sault Ste. Marie Ontario on Old Mill Beach Road (Off Highway 638, near Ophir).

Go north on Hwy 638 from Echo Bay or just east of Bruce Mines. Turn at Old Mill Beach Road (just past Rock Lake Camp turnoff sign). Proceed on winding gravel road for 1.5 km (about a mile) to the campground.

Mission Statement:

To place an emphasis on the individual's walk with the Lord Jesus Christ through personal, private meditation on the Scriptures and conversing with God in prayer.
To provide time and encourage individual reflection upon the handiwork of God in nature.
To promote the practice of family worship
To cultivate family unity in all activities and thereby foster positive Christian attitudes towards family members and friends.

Rock Lake Christian Campground is open from the May long weekend to the Labour Day long weekend. (Weather Permitting)

Camp lots have water hookups and electrical connections to all 39 lots. (Thirty-one of these lots also have sewer hookups.)

Tent lots (with no services.)

Cabin rentals by the week.

Fire rings available for your use.

Boat launches available at nearby public beach.

Recreation Hall can be booked for family gatherings.

Lunch provided. Donate a prize as an entry fee.

Labour Day Supper for Campers

August 30, 2025 Main course provided.
Campers bring salad or dessert.
