Care Groups & Bible Studies

CARE GROUPS have become a significant part of our church community.
Those who are involved enjoy a family experience of caring, learning, and praying together. You won't want to miss being a part of a CARE GROUP.

	A special time for those in need — every Tuesday morning here at FBC.

PRAYER MEETING & BIBLE STUDY – A Study of Isaiah

	Study Leader: Location: Date & Time:	Pastor Jack DeVries First Baptist Church Tuesdays at 7:00 pm
	Join us for a gentle prayer time every Tuesday evening here at FBC. (Prayer Meetings run throughout the summer too!)

MEN's EARLY BIRD BIBLE STUDY & PRAYER MEETING

	Study Leader: Location: Date & Time:	Pastor Gene Monin Knights Inn – 410 Pim Street, SSM Wednesday Mornings – 7 to 8 am
	We especially welcome men who are working, as we finish at 7:45 to allow them to go to work — the others stay and fellowship over breakfast. Call Gene Monin at 705-253-2608 for more information.
	*We'll resume our study of Exodus on September 8th at 7:00 am.*

W.O.W. LADIES BIBLE STUDY – Becoming a Woman of Contentment

	Study Leaders: Host: Date & Time:	Hazel Prendergast & Audrey Nicholson < Various > Thursday Mornings at 9:30 am
	WOW means "Women of the Word". All ladies are welcome anytime as we tackle several interesting topics.
	The WOW Bible Study returns on September 23rd with a look at "Becoming a Woman of Contentment". (The cost for the book is $10.50)

HOME GROUP BIBLE STUDY

	Study Leader: Host: Date & Time:	Maurice Upper Helga Perkins, 30 Park Place Court, SSM Alternate Thursdays at 7:30 pm
	New members are always welcome to join our group!
	*The Home Bible Study will resume on September 16th with a topic to be decided.*

LIFE & RECOVERY – A 12-Step Program

	Study Leader: Location: Date & Time:	Roger Periard First Baptist Church Thursdays at 7:30 pm
	A Biblically-based 12-Step group dealing with compulsive behaviours. Click HERE for details. (This group meets throughout the summer too!)

MEN's BIBLE STUDY & BREAKFAST – Leadership & Development

	Study Leader: Location: Date & Time:	Pastor Jack First Baptist Church (Parlour) Alternate Saturday Mornings at 8:00 am
	Based on the book "The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership"* by John C. Maxwell.* All men are welcome to join us!
	*The Men's Breakfast & Bible Study will continue on October 23rd.*

more than welcome to come out and participate in any of them at any time.
