First Baptist Church - Sault Ste. Marie Ontario

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario is made up of a diverse group of people who seek to know God and to make Him known.

Wherever you are in your spiritual journey there is a place for you.  

A typical Sunday morning service at, 11 am, includes worshipful music and a Bible-based message.   Babies, Children and Youth each have their own groups where they can grow and learn about God.  Each group has security-screened volunteers.

The casual, friendly atmosphere lends itself to a welcoming environment for anyone from any walk or age of life.

Our History

We are located in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, nicknamed "The Soo,"  a city in Northern Ontario located on the St. Marys River, bordering Michigan, USA, and acting as a gateway to Lake Superior. As the third-largest city in Northern Ontario (population ~72,000), it is a major industrial hub with a rich history, known for its scenic natural surroundings, including the Algoma Highlands.
